Petticoat Lane Emporium marks fifth birthday with record-breaking day of visitors and sales
“A record-breaking day for visitors and takings marked the fifth anniversary of Ramsgate’s Petticoat lane Emporium.
The fascinating hub of antique, vintage, collectable and unusual traders operates in Dumpton Park Drive and has attracted BBC Antique Roadshow crews several times.

Climate change mural adorns Petticoat Lane Emporium in Ramsgate
“Margate artist David Shillinglaw has painted a large thought-provoking mural on the roller shutter of Petticoat Lane Emporium in Ramsgate.
The piece shows the Earth crying tears into the sea with the bold caption “Only Planet”. The image and caption is a reference to climate change and aims to act as a reminder that we only have one planet, so we must look after it.

Filming at Ramsgate’s Petticoat Lane Emporium – and the isle on BBC2 tonight
“A BBC crew will be in Ramsgate on Friday (November 23) to film for the Money For Nothing series.
The programme features entrepreneur Sarah Moore who saves things from being dumped and transforms them into valuable pieces, making money for people who had no idea there was cash to be made from their trash.
